Frequently Asked Questions
How does Watercop work?
Watercop is designed to identify and actively correct plumbing problems. The sensors attached to your main valves analyze the flow and temperature of your water systems. When the system detects a problem, the main valve is shut off, preventing further damage from occurring.
What devices do most people use Watercop on?
Most homeowners use Watercop on things like washing machines, water heaters, toilets, showers and baths, dishwashers, sinks, and other devices that see frequent use.
How long do the batteries last?
Watercop runs on standard AA batteries. Each set of batteries lasts around 1 year, depending on usage. 5-7 days before the batteries will die, the system will issue a low battery warning.
How long do the sensors and valves last?
The sensors and valves used in Watercop should last indefinitely if used normally.
Is Watercop compatible with other smart technology?
Yes. You will want to check that it is compatible with your specific system, but Watercop is compatible with most home security systems and other smart technology devices.
How many sensors can Watercop support?
There are no limits to how many sensors the platform can support, meaning you can easily equip all the main valves in your home.
